Ati 7500/Audigy2 setup

Has anyone hooked the items of the title
together in a system AND was able to get a broadcast from Directv with sound and video intact on a resulting recording? Is it me or does this card record from TV (the Audigy2),cause each time I try to record from my Directv box,i get great picture but no sound although I get sound when I 'm recording the segment thru my PC speakers. Thanks to all who reply....

ok, this isnt a Advanced DVD authoring question, but there is a specific problem with live/audigy cards and the ATI MMC to do with recording. im pretty sure its fixed now, but for all the details, check the rage3d AIW/VIVO forum.
