Filter Idea

This is an idea for an anime filter, not my idea but one suggested by someone else who didn't want to post. Someone should make an anime filter that detects shapes and locks the blurring of those over the span of frames that they appear. Because when an object is suddenly brighter or overlayed by light or darkness, the contrast between the object and the surrounding background is lower and it gets blurred by smart smoothers.

Might be enough to detect the edges to blur everything but the edges...
Personally I´ll give MSmooth a try ...

(btw, to vidiot: I was suggesting a temporal lock, you're suggesting spatial, which is already done by smart smoothers)
