hi. i have a couple of concert dvd's. i want to rip/record just the audio onto an audio cd. is this possible? any help will be appreciated.

ok... just rip the whole DVD to your hard drive
then demux the audio from the vob files and delete the rest...
now you have two possibilities; you either get a burning program that can directly decode the ac3 sound and burn it to disk. if you have to split the audio if it's longer than 80 minutes (74 if it's a smaller disk) you can use besplit to do so...

the other option is to decode the ac3 file to an uncompressed .wav file (PCM). you can use azid and a besweet GUI to accomplish this. afterwards you can just burn the file to disk as it is the same format as the normal auio tracks.

be aware of the fact that it will only be one large track if you follow these methods! if you want to split the file into the seperate songs, you will have to do it manually i guess (also using besplit or similar)
