I wish to transcode an ac3 file but when I demux it from the VOB files, it is about 2 seconds shorter in length than the actual movie.
If I remux it with the m2v file, the movie starts in sync and and ends up about 1-2 seconds out of sync towards the end of the movie, without doing any encoding of either video or audio. This is the first time this has happened to me and it also coincides with the fact these are the first VOBs where there is an audio delay on each VOB, and each VOB file has a different delay than the last. It seems that when the ac3 file is demuxed the delay isn't taken into account. So when the ac3 files are appended together to make 1 ac3 file, each of those delays disappear.
Does anyone know of a program where I can Demux ac3 files where the delays are taken into account? Thanks.
