Hello there
I have been trying to figure out what the problem could be for about 3 days now & I am stuck.
I have recorded a movie from HBO using my Leadtek WinFast software into MPEG-2 setting, when I play the movie back in Windows Media Player or any other software & it plays fine through out the whole movie, however when I bring this movie into VirtualDub, TMPGEnc or Womble & convert it over to AVI ( DIvx ) or even when I preview the movie the audio goes off sync after about 10 min into the movie, what can I do to fix that? I want to be able to capture into MPEG-2 but only if I can fix the audio problem.

Thank you for your help
Mark

Possibly, fcchandler's Virtualdub with MPEG-2 and AC-3 support will work better for you. http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=42808

I use Gordian Knot with MPEG-2 captures, and haven't seen this problem. (Gknot uses DVD2AVI to frameserve video, and DVD2AVI works fine with mpeg-2 sources for me, so far.)
