I'm trying to determine the key differences between the
"HiPix DTV-200 HDTV Tuner PCI Card" and the "MyHD MDP-100 PCI HDTV Card".

What differences, +'s, and -'s are there between the two?

For capturing HDTV, which would give the best quality?

Are these the two best cards out there for capping and viewing HDTV?

Anyone have any personal recommendations, etc?

Also, anyone know why digital connection lists the HiPix as discontinued?

Thanks so much. any help/info here is well appreciate

Sorry, only have a MyHD, so I don't know! The MyHD does everything I want it to so far... runs under Win2k, captures HDTV... has a remote control... what else is there?

They both capture ATSC transport streams, so I don't think there's any difference between the two. Except the file extension!

Best? I dunno... Most popular? Yeah, I'd have to say my research indicates they are.

I got the MyHD because it was cheaper...

Just a stab in the dark here, but maybe because it *is* discontinued?? (I'm not saying it is; but if DC says it is, maybe it really is?)

The real question should be, MyHD vs HiDTV.
