I tried to burn mp3 on to dvd-r and play it on a standalone dvd player that supports mp3!
it didn't work!
Any ideas\solutions? compatibility? or the problem is related with the standalone firmware?
thanks

regular data dvd burn using nero, works in APEX AD-1200.
and in some Sony's. not in many other APEX etc. as they
try to see the DVD disk as DVD-Video.
Good path is to see if we can write it as DVD-Video where
in Video stream will contain only one JPEG which has song details.
And each JPEG,MP3 combination can be seperate chapter.
Good tool to review this is DVD pictureshow etc.
This way u don't even need MP3 compatilibilty but you might
miss feature like Random scan etc. on top u get subtitles where
you can put all MP3 ID3 tag etc. The other best advantage is we
can put more than one track. so, if i am pissed off with Janet's
song in Track-1, with a single button, it will go to some latino song.
somebody needs to help us.

Very few dvd players will play mp3s on dvd-r. Check out vcdhelp.com
None of my dvd player will, but I bought a panasonic cp72, rumor has it that it does; I will try it this weekend.
