Personally I like to extract the VIDEO_TS folder to another folder and add an AUDIO_TS folder then create a .img file with imgtool then burn with Decrypter. Lengthy process (well about an extra 10 mins on a P4 2.0ghz)

I have so far done 20 TV Episode back up's (Red Dwarf, CSI, TNG etc...) with 100% success and lovely quality :)

Hope this helps

Yeah use pdi2iso, unpack that ISO with Winrar or something...
Test it with Power DVD loading your Video_TS.ifo
If it all seems okay, just Open Instant Copy
And Burn From HD to DVD-R (pointing to the 1st pdi file)

Works okay for me, but remember some stand alone dvdplayers needs the Audio_Ts folder also, so then its better to choose SlaRty's way and burn it with Prassi DVD 2.0

i'm glad my dvd player (Pioneer-DV444) don't need that Audio_Ts folder.

If you already have an ISO, burn with DVDDecrypter... eventually this will have the added benefit of being able to actually specify a volume label.

The AUDIO_TS folder is not a requirement of a 'DVD movie' so some apps don't bother to put one in their project, it is just for the far and few between 'DVD Audio' discs, but some players require it for proper operation and as I won't always be keeping my Sony 735 I have decided to add one for any future compatibility issues I may come across (better safe than sorry).:)

Any players that require it, are, as far as I can tell, not following the specification.

thats what i was thinking because that would make hundreds of original dvds
junk
and there are millions of them

:D

I'm guessing that it don't make any difference if the disc is stamped, but it does if it is copied. Loads of people reported early on the need for the AUDIO_TS folder so I suppose there is summin' in it :)

Okay now i see, but i read in a previous topic overhere that some dvd players need the audio_ts folder, so that's why i thought it would be better to burn that folder with it.
