Originally I used dvddecrypter to rip a movie and then used dvd2one to compress it and then used recordnowmax 4.5 to burn it. My movies all came out region free.

I just purchased instantcopy 7 but it hasnt gotten here yet. I plan on ripping everything with dvddecrypter (file mode) then use instantcopy 7 to make full 1:1 backup of movies. Do I need to change anything to make them region free? I am worried that if I rip everything with dvddecrypter they won't be region free.

Thanks for any help.

pretty sure that dvd decryptor makes the movie region free when it rips the vobs.

And I thought it was an easy one...
What is the best solution to back up a DVD5 to a DVD+-R region free, no more zone??
I tried DVD decrypter, no good...
DVD X Copy leaves the zone on the target..

Any suggestion??

As far as I tested DVD decrypter does not allow to remove the region in ISO Mode, does it?

Seems to remove it for me.

DVD Decrypter will remove RCE checking when ripping in both ISO and file mode.

If you suspect otherwise use IfoEdit to check it before further processing.
