Hi,

"not recognized" is a windows error message, not one from PDIxtract. It seems that your copy of pdixtract.exe is either corrupted or not present. Please answer the following questions, that might help me to help you:

- Did you extracted the .zip archive after download?
- from what source do you downloaded the program?
- which version? what time do you downloaded.
- what is your OS?

Try to download the archive anew and extract the exe. Start a command window (command.com or cmd.exe) and call the program without parameters. You should get version information and help message that look similar to this.

H:\>u:\pdixtract
$Id: pdixtract.c,v 1.2 2003/02/18 17:39:03 smurf Exp smurf $

usage: pdidir [-l] [-r] [-(d|m) <dest-dir>] <pdi-file-name>[.pdi]

If this is ok, you are back in business with parameter errors. ;)
But as far as I can see, yout typed the right command line.
There is a little misleading error message in current published version: If you mistype th .pdi-filename, you get the error massage "bad file number" instead of "file not found". This will be fixed in the next version.

UPDATE
Hi,
there is a new version of pdixtract combined with a GUI frontend, called PDITool, you can find and discuss it here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47259).

1) yes, I did it
2) from this forum
3) I think it's the one you can create new folder and delete them
4) XP PRO.

It's wierd because the very first time I downloaded it worked. After I got the second copy I got this message. May be it's the copy itself. I'll try w/ a new copy

hey! I tried it with the same copy I had after 1,000,000 times it worked. I think pdixtract was having problem because in the same folder I have pdi2iso.exe. I removed it and I rename the folder to pdixtractor. eg. d:\pdixtract\pdixtract video.pdi :D :D :D :D :D :D
