This is going to be the subject of my research tonight.
I upgraded from 1.1.0 to 1.1.2.
My first back-up with the latest version causes this problem--which is minor.
I mounted the images using DaemonTools and previewed with WinDVD. The mounted "virtual" disc plays fine (including title and change CD pics). The CDRs are the same as usual.
Now I burn using Nero and "CD copy", a method I have used for a very long time. The created CDs, when played in my DVD standalone now won't play the title and change CD pics. At the beginning of the disc, I get an empty blue screen for the usual duration of the title pic. The main movie MPEG then just starts from there. At the end of the disc, the last frame of the movie just freezes at that point and there is no change CD pic.
I notice that in the VCDimager folder, the dlls cygwin1.dll and cygz.dll are new. In fact they are different from both the dlls in previous versions of DVD2SVCD and differ from those included with VCDEasy v114. I wonder if this is the source of the problem?
Tonight I plan just to use the old VCDImager folder included with DVD2SVCD v110 in conjunction with DVD2SVCD v112 and see if that solves the problem. I will also test executing the XML file from within VCDeasy using the VCDxBuild feature with that GUI.
Anyone else with this problem?
I will try to report back tomorrow.
