Some people are complaining about lockups when selecting an item in the menu you have tried to remove using InstantCopy

I prefer to strip certain VOB ID's instead of deleting the whole Title as IC does

I just strip the VOB files myself 1st using Ifoedit before letting IC loose on it, but make sure the resulting DVD is still fully functional and structurely sound

after ripping the DVD, I have a quick preview of all the VOB's using PowerDVD and see what rubbish I want to keep :D

I open the relevant IFO file to the VOB and use preview for to find which VOB ID's within that VOB I want to keep and which to strip

I strip them using VOB extras button and Ifo edit then sorts it all out for you

I have a quick check of DVD again using PowerDVD and click on the menu buttons for features I have removed and check that all that happens is for the screen to go black for a second then returns to menu. Job done

Now you can use IC to compress everything you wanna keep

If the DVD is wrong in any way then IC will report the error and won't start, I found this out by using the delete playback button in Ifoedit

I know it takes a bit longer but in the end I have the DVD with the bits I want working

thanks man, i found that this solves a lot of probs with IC too. Too bad it's still this buggy that we need to use ifoedit too. I'd like click-n-go.
