After using smartripper, dvd2avi and tmpeg, i try to load my .m2v and my .ac3 file and then load CellTimes.txt to author and ifoedit crashes whenever the ac3 file is a negative. I only got a negative ac3 to work maybe 2 times but the rest always crash when i try to author.

For instance, im trying to backup highlander (immortal edition). i use smartripper to rip file onto hard drive, then use dvd2avi and save project, then run in thru tmpeg, then ifoedit crashes.

any suggestions would be appreciated....by the way im using all the latest versions of each software. thanks

IfoEdit crashes if ac3 delay is under -30 (NTSC) or under -40 (PAL). Just use the search function here, I already mentioned this prob here and made a solution/workaround (with ac3delaycorrector).

Short summary: take ac3delaycorrector, input the delay, and use then the difference for IcoEdit authoring.

a)
1) Original Delay is -107
2) ac3delaycorrector cuts 96ms (32ms * 4)
3) Now use -11 as delay for IfoEdit (= -107 + 96)

b)
1) Original Delay is -57
2) ac3delaycorrector cuts 64ms (32ms * 2)
3) Now use +7 as delay for IfoEdit (= -57 + 64)

so everytime the corrected delay is below the "deadline" (40ms/30ms)
