I was installing recordnow max 4.5 and it said nero must be uninstalled before it can continue, i hit cancel and it appeared to be fine.
Is this really the truth? Can I have recordnow max and nero at the same time?

I have both installed and I never got a warning message or a problem.

When I tried installing it is said that I would have to take my Roxio 5.5 EZ cd creator off. I took it off and then it said I had to take Nero off. RecordnowMax would let me set the program off until I took Roxio off; it did let me setup even though I didn't take Nero off. Once RecordnowMax was installed, I re-installed Roxio and when I went to reboot, my computer wouldn't start up, so I re-booted in "safe-mode" where I installed the lates Roxio updates. After that, I had everything working properly. Good luck

EasyCd and RecordNow both work fine for me. Hell, I can start them up at the same time and no problems. Same goes for CloneCD and Alcohol 120. But If I want Nero guess what.........I have to get rid of easycd and recordnow. I say screw that! I want my options.

And that is why I don't use Nero, and probably never will.
