Is it possible to record a WAV file with 5.1 channels?
I want to play a 5.1 AC3 file and also record it to a 5.1 WAV file, I dont want to convert the file for reasons explained below I want to record what is being played. Winamp has a feature like this where you set the output plugin to record whatever is being played to a WAV file but its only 2 channel?
I have a AC3 file but it has error's and all the tools I have used so far have either
1)replaced to corrupt frames with blank ones which causes about a 30 second sound loss in the repaired file but when I play the original the sound is played fine even where the error's are
or
2)Deleted the bad frames which has caused Sync error's
Thanks for your help in advance :)
