First I would like to say that the thing so far that helped me most was that I was not able to post for 5 days !!!
Thank you whoever that put that rule on these forums!!!
This rule makes people not rushing in and asking questions that are already awnsered and also this makes people try to figure out the problems by them self or starting to Read the Help files before questions asked 8=) !
While I was waiting for my Forum abylity to post I learnd a lot about Scenarist from the manual and this Forum.

Now to my QUESTION/PROBLEM:

I have ripped Cliffhanger (mainmovie, menu, subtitles.) I put it back together in Scenarist with everything working (very nice with all the animated menus) 8=) !

The only thing Im missing is the (Subtitles activation in the Subtitle menu)
I dont understand how I link a button in my Subtitle Menu which would result in activating desired Subtitle language and jumping back to the main menu (Just like in the Original DVD)

I know that I can use my Remote Control to change the subtitles with but I would like this to work in my MENU also (It would make it somehow Complete)

So Question is how do I activate/link a Subtitle and make it active?
Also How do I turn off Subtitles ??

I would greatly appriciate ANY help on this !!!
Here is a layout of my Scenario:

Are you creating a full DVD backup or are you actually authoring everything on your own (your comments make me think the latter is the case). The solution to your problem is actually in my first Scenarist guide in the middle (after linking all the buttons in the language menu): http://www.doom9.org/mpg/scenarist.htm . You can have a button perform several actions at once using the Command List.

Yes Im authoring myself 8=)

Also I looked at your guide but there is a little problem with in my scenario:

My Subtitle menu is in a diffrent Title and the movie PGC cant be linked from where it is now (at least I can't find it in any link options)and thats my problem.
I cant put the Subtitle menu in the same folder for 2 resons:

1.Aspect Ratio is diffrent
2.The time would not display on dvd-players if there are 2 PGC with in the same Title.

Any Othere suggestions Doom9 or someone else ??

Just my opinion but I suggest you move on to the methods most of us now use for full disc backups. Unless there is a really damn good reason you are recreating all the menus from scratch, you're just making things needlessly complicated on yourself.

Backup off a full DVD-9 to DVDR takes more time then I need if the main movie already fits on the disk then I never need to reencode the movie or extras just rip the menu and make new subpictures for it.

All the extras are mostly worthless garbage anyway (cant remember when I last looked at any extras)

But I do want the menu for some reson dont know why I just like having a menu where I can jump to chapters.

So normally I can rip a movie+menu+subtitles in 3.5 hours thats including the 50min of burning time 20 min compailing in scenarist and 30 ripping the DVD.

If a movie is bigger then a DVD-5 then I use your method since I need to rencode it anyway.

By The Way !

Is there really no one that knows how to set a subpicture in a diffrent Title folder ???

I know that it can be done since it's that way on the original DVDs.

Thank You !

I'm not very fond of removing anything from the original DVD (after all this is no "backup" anymore if you do that). Anyway, have a look at ifoedit.com guides, there is a particular guide about keeping movie + menu only (Beuûûûrk).

I had the same problems with linking to a different title.
I had some of the menu in the Video Manager Domain (under language domain), and wanted to link certain things to the VTS_1, under language domain, now this proved pritty hard since I hadn't set the menu type of certain menus. I found that I could make jumps/links to the VTS_1 menus from Video Manager menus by setting menu identities (Root menu, title menu, audio menu, angle menu and PTT Menu). This way it does a JUMP in System Space I believe, to a menu identifier instead of directly to the PGC (i.e. JumpSS RootMenu). This worked great, but in the end, I made a dummy PGC in VTS_1 menus, which had the root menu identifier, which gave me the ability to have more control over things by checked on different GPRM settings and stuff. But, to conclude, you should set menu identifier, this way you'll get it working.
