Hi guys,

I have been using ReMPEG2 to transcode some of the titles that are just a little too big to fit on a DVD-R, and it used to work fairly good, but on the newer titles, it isn't working as well as it it used to. As a result, I have tried using TMPGEnc to reduce the size of the main movie, following the guide in the DVD encoding guides section, but I just can't seem to remux the audio properly using IfoEdit, and I don't know any other method of remuxing. Can this be done, and if so, where can I find a guide that explains the procedure?

The only way I've had success with IFOEdit & TMPGEnc is to author instead of remuxing. IFOEdit.95 has an author menu item that will let you author using the audio stream demuxed by DVD2AVI and the .m2v file generated by TMPGEnc along with chapter information from IFOEdit to come up with a set of .VOB files that will work just fine.

There is a guide in doom9's guides section to help you with this.

Good Luck!

That'll do. :)

I've looked for that guide, but I don't know which one it is. Could you be more specific as to which guide I should use for this?

Thanks!
