hi,
i have 2 questions ?
1.when the main movie is found in vts_03_#.vob , how do i burn it ?
do i need to rename the vob's to vts_01_#.vob or do i need to leave it and burn it as usual ?

2. if i need to change it will it affect on the ifo's ? and how do i need to fix them if the answer is yes ?

well you could ripp just the main movie only with dvd decryter and then use ifoedit to create the new ifo's for it to play main movie only or you could ripp the entire dvd and the use the vob extras option to then create a main movie only ifo's then get vts sectors and then burn

it is the main movie (the vts_03_#.vob).

fibola, just rip the main movie, it doesn't matter if it is VTS_03.
When you load up IFOedit, go to VOB extras and make sure the "create new IFO files" box is checked. Also make sure you strip at least an unwanted audio track or VOBID, then IFOedit will create all new IFO files and VOB files. You wil be left with only VTS_01 IFO and VOB files.

Make sure you Get VTS sectors before you burn.

This is essentially what mike4692 said.

or you can even keep the vobs with those names...
let me explain...
you need VTS_01 to make the disc playable. so if the movie fits the disc, delele all the files except VIDEO_TS.* (3 files)
VTS_01.ifo VTS_01.bup and VTS_01_0.vob
then you have to do "GET VTS SECTORS" in ifoedit.
easy as pie...
