Hi,

I just authored my very first Multi-PGC title with Scearist (did it before with Maestro, but I've been convinced to use Scenarist now).
I was doing ScoobyDoo extras, VTS01 made of 3 PGCs, PGC1 and PGC2 sharing same VobID = 1 and PGC3 has VOBDID=2.
OK, I did all te stuff from trilight and doom9 guides, inserted dummy audio streams, very fine, imported subs, and all. Applied IFOUpdate in the end and OK.
In the end, I compared the authored ifo with the original DVD ifo. They are identical as far as Title, cells, pgcs and vobIds are concerned.
Stilln when I playbakc the authored DVD, I don't get any subtitles. I precise I kept French subs only and they have stream ID 0x20 in the authored DVD vs StreamID 0x21 in the original DVD.
I tried to select all sub languages in PowerDVD to see if it was a bad stream number issue, but no way. They won't appear.

Can someone help me on this ?

thanks

Waldok

use 'copy color table in each PGC' in ifoupdate.

Thanks Eyes, but I think you told me the opposite in #Doom9, and you were right then. I UNCHECKED copy color tables and it works now like a charm. With this option previously checked, subs did not appear.

thanks once more for your help.

Geia sou Waldok.

I believe the problem is the id. U put the subs in the 1st stream whereas they should reside in the second.

Use a dummy sub for 1 and put your subs in the 2nd.

Thanks Odysseus,

But the problem was solved by unchecking "Copy color palette for each PGC" in the IFOupdate menu.

Thanks to all.
