When I rip a movie, and ripping away the 5.1 sound leaving only dts left and I still have the menu. The chapters just doesnīt match with the menu. Like when I enter the menu chapter and select the last chapter 21 I should end up in the credits end of the movie, but I end up instead in the near end movie. and I noticed that the first 8 chapters are the beginning and the 9th chapter is like the 2nd chapter.... all mixed up

and when burning all these files in nero, should I burn it as a Data DVD having ofcourse the correct folders or just burn it in DVD-Video and just ignoring the error?

I have been working with this Scorpion King for ages now driving me crazy.

I use the Ifoedit and I have followed thoroughly the guide dvd9-dvd5
-
All I have to do in this movie is to get rid of the unused menu in the vob file which is 400 Mb which I got it to 100 mb. Using only the first 20 IDs of 69
And strip the 5.1 sound in the movie

after that I have enough space to burn it. Would it too much to ask to have a guide on this movie cus I have muchos problems with it and it seems like Iīm doing it right.

thanks

SidDan,

Ahhhh...The Scorpion King! I believe this was my first DVD I've done. Of course, I got it sloppily to work but I didn't really understood what I was doing then. After about a month of experience on understanding the commands, I went back and redid it. It was so easy the second time but still, there was some stubborn spots I had to overcome. Every menu had a pre-transition clip and they almost looked the same. I had to really stare at my monitor for a long time to finally learn what to search for in my VOB-Ids. I believe the only menu button I needed to disable was the bonus materials button. I couldn't keep it.

Anyway, I think you messed up in your audio stripping procedure. I could do a small cheat sheet but there are softwares coming around the corner soon that would help us keep everything, would get kinda boring and old. But then again, doing it the old school way, you're keeping your video and sound quality untouched. Anyway, going back to your audio stripping procedure, post back on what options you had checked off after you pressed your "VOB Extras" button.

By the way, is this the movie you were talking about in your other recent thread?

Hi again 2Cool

yea, itīs the same movie as I had on my last post, funny that it was the same movie for you aswell. Actually Accidental Spy was my first movie. but it seemed to be a dvd5 so I just had to copy it, no sweat.

but ok... this sound stripping when I check the Vob Extra:

the options I had checked were the ones that are default already, just as what it says on the guide dvd9 to dvd5, thereīs also a picture

Options:
Strip Streamīs
Strip VobIDs
Correct...
Correct...

and under VOB EXPERT options:
all but Remove Angle point
and the vob size was set to 1GB.. the original vob files are 0.99 GB
