Have an MPEG1 file question

I have an mpeg1 file that is two big to burn to 1 disc.

I need to somehow cut this in half.

Any ideas?


I know I could import into vdub export to avi then cut but when I am exporting the file I get an error so thats out the window

Any suggestions would be helpful.

U could try tmpeg split fuction at mpeg tools menu.

to name a few mpeg editors that can cut a mpeg stream and don't need to reencode it.

By the way vdub is out of question because after cutting, u need to reencode the avi to mpeg.
