I have this strange problem with some Xvid compressed movies.
When i start them i WMP (or any other player) the movie shows
no error on missing codecs but time stamp stays at 00:00:00 and
doesn't move....

What could be solution

please help

Hi-

It could be that the XviD .avi was encoded with B-Frames, and you're using an older decoder that can't handle it. Why don't you give ffdshow (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Filters/ffdshow-20021213.exe) a try and see if that solves the problem.
