.DAT audio

I've extracted some audio .dats, I try to open them in vdub, to extract a wav or something, but it gives me an no video error, any help?

where did you extract this .dat audio files from?
furthermore: why do you want to extract them with virtualdub if they are audio- only files?

By extract, I meant I copied them into my computer from a Audio CD. And for vdub, because I don't know how to get DAT audio -> wav/mp3

i think besweet in conjunction with besweet GUI is your way to go...
