I have a concert on DVD that has crappy audio. I recently got copy of a cd with really good audio and I basically want to replace it with the crappy one on the DVD now.
But it starts in a different place on both. So I basically want to edit it up so they match.
My question is, is there any good programs that make this easy? I was thinking of doing it the old fashioned trial and error way??
Kinda sounds confusing but if anyone understands and can help it would be much appreciated..
Thanks

I understood.
1st: rip the audio from DVD, decode it into a stereo WAV.
2nd: rip the audio from CD, use CDEx or what you like. Just crate a 1file WAV.
3rd: now open the DVD wave file and the CD wave file.
NOTE: the CD is 44100hz while DVD players must be 48000hz. Use the CONVERT SAMPLE TYPE of CEP and transform the CD file into 48000hz stereo 16 bit.
Open the multitrack view and add both files one per channel.
4th: ok, zoom and move the CD track to be perfectly allineated.
5th: now check that the 2 files perfectly match (they should have the same lenght). If one or the other has different lenght, try to use the speed/pitch utility in CEP.
6th: mute the DVD audio.
7th: select the wave from the 0 to the end.
8th: DOWNMIX ALL FILES
9th: Save the downmix in a Wave file (we're working on WAVE files, the quality won't change).
10th: use TOOLAME or the encoder you like to transform in a DVD compilant audio track (MP2 or AC3).
Now rip the video, then multiplex it to the new audio.
I don't know what to do here, because I have never created a DVD (just VCDs and SVCDs, in this case I rip the video and reconvert it to MPEG1 or 2).
