Hi everyone.
I've just ripped a DVD (training day) and stripped all but the english and italian audio tracks. Both tracks are 5.1 audio, now for the italian audio track I only want this to be stereo so I used the AC3 - > AC3 tutorial on Doom9 using Ac3 machine/besweet.
Now the tutorial was really easy to follow and at the end I had an ac3 track roughly 1/3 of the original, but the sound was *REALLY QUIET*. Maybe 1/2 the audio levels of the 5.1 track.
What I want to know is how can I make the audio level stay the same, because the sound on the converted 2.0 seemed un-humanly quiet I had to turn my PC speakers up to full just to hear it at *reasonably* loud levels.
Also, it doesnt mention in the tutorial, but is there a minimum bitrate for DVD standalones with the sound?
Thanks in advance.
