Hi,
I want to encode ac3 files to Ogg but not by using the demuxed ac3 from DVD2AVI.
I want to encode directly to Ogg from a VOB file(DVDDecrypter-->ifo mode --> file splitting: none --> so I get just one big VOB file)
I openend the VOB file in the latest beta(BeSweet) and set all settings I wanted.
But one question appeared:
Should I activate this "A/V" option in the OTA options to get no synch problems? (" Set delay to ...ms" is greyed out)
If I put this option the commandline switches from:
-ota( -hybridgain ) -ogg( -q 0.250 )
to
-ota( -d 0 -hybridgain ) -ogg( -q 0.250 )
[edit]
FAQ: point 20: "you should compensate for the delay only once. either with BeSweet or with Nandub. one should be the A/V delay, and the other equals to zero. "
So,have I set this "A/V"- option to get the same result like I get with " Set delay to ...ms" by using the demuxed ac3 from DVD2AVI ?
THX in advance! :)
