Is there a way of removing POP-UP’s like the ones in Spiderman, MIB2 and Enemy at the Gates. At some point during the movie an icon will pop up allowing you to branch off to facts about the film. The icon itself is a subtitle but if you remove this subtitle then the next sub will be displayed. Just wondering if there is an easy way of removing without re-authoring.

Last year when I did Spiderman, the only way I could fit it on a DVDR without re-authoring was to do a movie only and keep 1st audio. Everything else was stripped. I didn't have pop-ups in my backup. Nowadays I would do it differently like using DVD2One or InstantCopy to keep movie and menu. I can't tell you if your problem goes away by doing these methods.

It actually sounds like you have ripped the wrong PGC, because there is like, in all DVDs an option to play the movie the way it is intended. So there must be a PGC that doesn't select that Subtitle/Icon.

Or do you want this Subtitle, and just wish it to automatically select the right one?
