creating ECF

hey,
could someone please give me some advice for manually editing ECF files. if i make it with gknot, how can i make it better? keyframes? motion? anything...thanks

Edit: and do i select Optional Data: Scene Changes on the first pass if i'm going to be using gknots editor?

I've used manual ecf editing only for bitrate re-distribution - to give some more bits to a particular scene, or resp. to decrease the bitrate. It works like charm :)
