i'm considering getting a Canopus MVR1000, and before I do, i'm currious...
could i watch full screen video, without recording it at the same time?
also, would it have a delay in the video? my hauppage wintv-pvr 250 does (the delay is only for a few seconds, but in some applications, a second is essential), so i can't use that card play console games, for example.
anyways, my main reason for getting it isn't any of these features, but rather to archive old VHS tapes, and stuff on my ReplayTV, but... i also don't have a TV, and would like a way to casually watch TV as well... using the ReplayTV as a tuner, would I be able to use it as such?
