Hi,

I captured my home video and converted it into DVD compliant MPEG file. Now, when I try burning a DVD with Sonic MyDVD, it re-encodes it and screws up the quality that I got from TMPGEnc.

Is there an authoring program which directly imports MPEG file or at least audio/video streams and creates a DVD file structure without re-encoding the file or streams?

I know IFOEdit does it but it doesn't have menus etc.

Really appreciate any help.

I first started out with Sonic MyDVD as well for my home movies, and was not all that happy with the encoding quality. Got into the same jam you are in where even though I encoded myself in TEMPEnc, it woudl then re-encode. I have been using Spruce Up since then, and it is wonderful, still easy to use, more flexible, and doesn't re-encode. Would recommend.
