Hi people! Hi Mr DSPGuru

I have a problem with BeSweet introducing slight tapping or cracking sound into the output audio when converting pitch from PAL to 24 or 23.976fps. I have seen this bug was detected before, but I don't know if DSPGuru has taken finally the determination to solve it. I have quite an actual version (1.4), and it does the noise, so I guess there hasn't been much movement around this issue.

I'd like to ask you all for some updates on this issue. I'd also like to ask Mr DSPGuru to speak out and say whether he is planning to solve this matter in the immediate future. Besweet is a very sweet tool to have, and this imperfection turns to be really annoying, specially for me, who like to see films in original, 24 fps framerate. This only bug is actually keeping me from using the power of BeSweet.

As only alternative, there is only Prosoniq Time Factory, which is both a "pay" solution I'd like to avoid and only accepts WAV input (which forces me to do a time and space-consuming intermediate conversion to WAV). Any tool you recommend me must accept MP3 (and AC3 if possible).

I could also do conversions to wav, edit pitch with GoldWave or similar, and then encode. This method is both room and time demanding, so it is also to be avoided.

Any idea out there?

Forget it man, I don't think DSPguru has the skill and the knowledge to make a perfect pitch correction.
You've *got to* use TimeFactory if you want perfect results.
