I just finished converting a DivX movie to MPEG-2 with CCE. When i try to add it to my project in DVD Maestro it just pops up with an error message saying "Invalid frame rate". When i add it to Scenarist it first checks the whole file and then in the General tab it says:

Info Quadrant MPEG decoder is present.
Error D:\90GIG\Movies\Dude Where's My Car [DivX]\dwmc.mpv
Error : Frame rate (1 = 24 000+1001(23.976)) is wrong.

Info 0 file(s) accepted, 1 file(s) rejected

I've checked the "DVD Compatibility" checkbox in CCE when encoding. Isn't 23.976 (24000/1001) a valid framerate for NTSC DVD's?

All help appreciated.

Not without pulldown. The display rate for NTSC is 29.97, 23.976 source can be used, but must have pulldown flags added. Scenarist will not do this for you, you must use pulldown.exe

Thanks! Where is this pulldown.exe program located?
