Would it be possible for a future version of avi2svcd to implement the 'use frame selection' functionality like dvd2svcd does? I'd like to run my avi tv captures through this and this function would be very useful for cutting out adverts etc.... I only ask this as i'm unable to convert an avs to svcd. If i could load an avs file i could put my trim points in that to cut out adverts.

frame selection is not designed for cutting out multiple parts of the same video...it can be used for cutting off the credits and or the beginning.
you can use the 'trim' command in avisynth in your avs file to cut out the parts you want to cut out.

It would be good if that was true - but i cant because by the time i've put in my trim command, the audio has already been encoded.
