Just done my first DVD rip and convert using DVD2SVCD. Took forever to do it (10 hrs) but the finished files look good on my pc through powerDVD. Only trouble is that the finished files are 730Mb each and my CD-Rs are only 700Mb. Can I change the file sizes at all? Tried everywhere to get 740Mb or 800Mb CD-Rs without any joy. Any help greatly appreciated.

You have violated several rules with this post..
First this post, as all problem-topics, belong to basic forum, not advanced.
Second this post even doesn't belong to basic forum as all you questions are answered in the Q&A.
Please read the sticky about how to make a good post before asking again.
btw: In SVCD-mode a CD-R can hold more data, so your 730MB image will fit on a 74min-CDR. Just don't make a new SVCD with some *$§"$-program like Nero, but burn the .bin/.cue with CDRWIN or al least use NERO and chose 'file'--> 'burn image' and select the .cue from there.
And one last: 10h is quite fast for many of us, it belongs to your settings, hardware, encoder and the movie length, the process can sometimes takes much more than 20h!

I agree with everything Labersack said.
