im having tons of trouble getting the audio off an mov file. I'm trying to use TMPGEnc with the QTReader plugin. It opens up the file, and when i try to do it works, but there is no audio there. I've also tried using dumpster but there was no nsav section to change the values to 000000's any ideas?

Load the .MOV file in Quicktime -> Edit -> Extract track.
Or is it something else you want?

I havent't tried with .mov but if you have an .avi you can extract the audio with VirtualDub, save wav, and the convert the file into any format you want.

Ah, right.
Then, do File -> Export
In the "Export:" box, choose "Sound to Wave"
Click "Options..." and choose your favorite settings
Then save.
Hope that's what you want.
Obs: You'll need to Pro version to perform Export
