make it easy and padding

hopefully jdobbs is reading this. (fantastic program)

anyway my question is simple, is there a limit on how much padding you do.
just to try something out i tried padding 2000mb which it did, but when i did remove padding it only took away about 1300mb (guess).


besides the point i just did a six episode disc and it turned out perfect.

This is the nature of the process. Since DVD2ONE also transcodes the 'padding', there will be less to remove. This is why you need to tell MakeItEasy to pad more than you actually need. The basic formula:

pad = xtras*FILM_VOBS/(4482-xtras) (All entries in MB)

This may or not work out perfectly, as there is no certainty how much DVD2ONE will actually compress the pad.
