View Full Version : Dvd2Svcd - Divx-avi2Svcd jam

When using Dvd2Svcd (v1.1.1 build 2) for converting an Divx-avi2Svcd at 4x VBR, Cinema Craft Enocoder (conversion) just jams up at exactly 50% each time.. (when using a full or sample divx-avi)
Can anyone help me with my problem, and tell me what's going on?
Meanwhile thanks for response!
Greetz, Sabukid
OS Windows XP pro.
P.s. when using 3x VBR it jams up at 66%, so there must be a conflict/error in CCE 2.50.
Only at 2x VBR or less all goes well.??

I forgot an important part to this question.
This only happens when i use my own made Sub Station Alpha (ssa)-file in frameserver tab 'edit as part of video encoding'.
There in use this script under all that's already there:
LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\DVD2SVCD\Avisynth\textsub.vdf")
TextSub("D:\DVD2SVCD\VOB's of Divx\SUB.ssa")
When using the standard permanent subtitle option in Dvd2SVcd i have no problems at all. (when adding external subtitles)
I hope someone can help me with my question now..?? :)
Thanx, Sabukid

A search of CCE crash or CCE freeze would have given you a ton of things to try. This is a very common problem.
Try using safe mode or safe mode with CCE 2.62.
If this does not help use the search function.

Thanx Mark.., but i don't think the jamup has anything to do with CCE, it hase something to do with the used script.
Because when i use the regular external subtitle option with Dvd2Svcd all goes perfectly well.
Thanx for the tip trying on safemode.. i'll try that. (also with CCE 2.62)
Thanx......!!!

I agree with markrb. There are number of things that can make CCE crash. Also, there are number of solutions. Check out the Q&A and FAG, they will sure help you.
