I get an interesting missing dll error using avisynth.

Whenever I use avisynth to either load within a media player or virtual dub I get an error that states a lack of a msvcrd.dll. I also get this error loading the AVS file into tmpeg. I don't get this error when loading normal (mpeg and avi files) into tmpeg a media player or virtual dub. Any Ideas on what causing it? IT really doesn't prevent the operation of any video tasks. After the initial error message everything is fine... what it does prevent is my ability to cache and queue up files for batch processing. Getting an error message that i need to click prevents me from running through a list of tasks... which is what I want to get done.

I have downloaded the missing dll but I have no clue where to place it... I've tried searching this forum and some googling but to no avail. My guess would be to stick that dll in its proper place but I have no clue as to where that would be.

You probably meant msvcrtd.dll. Try the search again with that.

You can:

Delete imagesequence.dll from the plugin directory.
or:
Put the DLL in c:\windows\system32 if you want to keep imagesequence.

Hmm okay... Thanks... Your right I misstyped the .dll WEll The dll I downloaded and put into my system folder worked... but now I get a new error stating

"the procedure entry point_chkesp could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCRTD.dll"

I took image sequence and the offendting DLL out and put it into quarentine until I figure out what that means... I'm curious as to what that means. I guess next time I'll check the Plugins in my directory before putting up error reports. (Oh I didn't find mention of this in the imagesequence readme... was this information to be found elsewhere?) Perhaps teh DLL I downloaded wasn't the right one... oh well.. I guess I won't be using image sequence... can't say I'ved used it before. THanks though.
