It's not, you're mistaken, due to a bug.
There is some kind of flag, which is set to mpeg1 instead of mpeg2.
It is actually mpeg2.
The author knows it and will fix it in the next version.
Anyway, my ps2 does not play mpeg1 and all my dvd's created with dvd2one are dvd-compliant and so are played on the ps2

Additionally, this bug only effects the menu flag, not the movie itself. If you look at the IFO in IFOedit you can plainly see:
----------
Menu attributes:
Video: MPEG-1 720x480 (NTSC) (NTSC 525/60) (4:3) (pan-scan & letterboxed)
Title Set (Movie) attributes:
Video: MPEG-2 720x480 (NTSC) (NTSC 525/60) (16:9) (letterboxed)

Some how i don't see how this can be fun? You're willingly putting our product in discredit and you call that fun?
Strange kind of humor you have.

Jayce,
i can understand what you're saying, but 2cool was just laughing at someone who shouted all good things about dvd2one, that was his own experience. But suddenly when he saw mpeg1, dvd2one was a fake, eventhough the quality was superb. So this was not based upon the quality, but on something he saw.
I can see the humor here ;)
But Jace, don't worry, it's a good product and "avi g" is corrected now. This negative publicity isn't spread that far, it's corrected by some attentive users.
Besides, i don't think avi g was willingly putting this product in discredit, he was just mistaken.
So you see, a real good product sells itself ;)

Could a moderator for this forum fix the title at least?? It doesn't really make sense.
What does that mean "the fake of dvd2one????"

Well, I won't delete the thread, but I will lock it and let it fall into oblivion. It's obvious a misunderstanding took place, and everybody should be clear now.
DVD2One produces MPEG2 video, but no menu. DVD2One also correctly leaves the menu video attributes all zeroes (which translates to MPEG1, among other things).
