Visual Source Safe & CVS, Possible?

Hi guys...

I'm trying to use Visual Source Safe 6.0c to pull projects via CVS, but I really don't get it?

Has M$ done it again and made a product that only works with other VSS, or is it at all possible to run "standard" CVS with it? If so, HOW? :confused:

btw, i use TortoiseCVS - it's very nice :).
