...to use AviSynth. But am I the only person that has problems with it? I seem to get hit or miss results. Sometimes I even have problems getting CCE to except the file. Is AviSynth that great, considering VFAPI is flawless when loading files?

After taking the time to look into the problem (instead of giving-up like I normally would!), I think I found out what was going on. Looks like the problem was with dvd2avi. I never had many problems with straight avi's, just when I would use dvd2avi. Cleaned some files up, re-installed a newer (much newer!) version and it looks like a winner.
