Un-deinterlace frame?

Does anyone know how to un-deinterlace a frame that was de-interlaced by blending the fields? The blend method produced a "ghost" edge where there were suddend movements. Is there a way to remove these interlacing ghosts?

If there was a way to do what you ask I would be very surprised, but never say never... As for the ghosting, it is associated with the blend and there's now way to avoid that if you blend fields.
