I post it here because maybe there are some other people who have the same problem
I have the error above since 2 or 3 weeks (new motherboard, new processor). So I searched this forum. There are about 10 threads about that, but mostly the solutions depended on software, like “use an older version of avisynth, or try to disable some filters […]”. In addition, some people thought it depends on their hardware (IDE controller, processor, motherboard…). I use AviSynth 2.5 with VirtualDubMod and encode in XviD from DVD (YV12). Then I tried to don’t rip the DVD with DVDDecrypter but with SmartRipper, nothing changed, still AviSynth read errors at different addresses and places. And here’s my solution:
I’ve a Shuttle Spacewalker AK32 with an Via KT266A chipset, a AMD xp2000+ processor and 512MB DDR-RAM. --> The Northbridge was overheated! An additional active cooler in front of it and it worked.
Perhaps this helps
