Editing RM's/RMVB's [Archive]

With what programs do I edit (specifically cutting scenes, and maybe recompressing), I tried using the Helix Producer, but it gives me an Out of Memory error.

hi,

try the tool (in command line) rmeditor bundle with the realproducer package. with it u could split and append rm(vb) file.
to reencode use oe-video software (or a name like this :) )

Can you please be a little more specific about the re-encoding program please? thanks, I can't seem to find it on Google

my version works up to rm 7, its not good for 8.

for simple cutting and joining RM/RMVB (at least RV9 version) try this one (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=44336)

Could u try RealMediaEditor w/gui from souxin ?
