Hi.

I have created two subtitle streams for the same movie from the save DVD. One stream is .sub created via VobSub (image subtitles) and the other stream is .srt created via SubRip using OCR (text subtitles).

I have noticed that the .srt srteam displays the subtitles 135 ms later than the .sub stream (i.e. the subtitle that appears at 0:00:00.000 in the .sub file, appears at 0:00:00:135 in the .srt file.

I have done the same thing for all the movies that I have and I always notice that the .srt file is 135 ms later than the .sub file.

It's not that it makes any difference on playback (135 ms is barely noticable), however I was just wondering why that happens, although the same vobs are used as source.

Which of the two timings is the correct one ?

Thanks in advance.
