Xvid frontend .. or updated mplayer plugin

Is there any xvid frontend or updated mplayer (mencoder) plugin that uses the most recent Xvid API?

on my hjarddisk there is a hacked version of mplayer/mencoder xvid plugin to encode using last DEV-3-API =)
if you like it i can sent it to you

What's the main difference to the "normal" MEncoder? What features are added?

not too much difference from the "standard" code
it only enable qpel, bframes fixed quant.... adn make not crash encoder and decoder=)
but it woek not ofr 2 pass enocding..
i'm waiting couse xvid team is talking about move 2 pass code inside library=)

hi there ..(sorry for the delay) That would be sweet .. can u send it to me? Btw, did you hacked it yourself, because i was peaking at the source code (mplayer) .. and couldn't find the place to hack it .. (well i dindn't look at it very long)

it enable last VHQ mode and hq-ac prediction
you can enable them using in menocder
vhq
and
hq_ac

vhq slow down encoding a lot, and usiong both them you can see filesize going down about 1 % wowwwww
whq still doesn't work inside xvid with gmc
