Hi, just upgraded my PC and since then I am not able to frameserve from Virtualdub with any avi's, keep getting the unsupported error?
The settings in the VFAPI of TMP would have been changed due to the Format C: but I have loaded the nimo codec pack which should provide all the codecs I need (??) and have set the Direct Show to 2 (my usual) but no joy, I am able to load the files straight to TMP, no probs, but TMP is crap at frameserving so I dont want to encode this way.Only Difference in my new set up is I have 1 extra IDE HDD made possible by my new Chaintech Zenith motherboard (IDE-RAID channel but it is running as standard IDE Device(dont know if this is an issue)This is where my files and TMP is stored.
Also when first starting TMP after the upgrade a msg came up with something like "update CPU" cant remember exactly what the msg was but it was due to my CPU change from 1800XP to 2400XP.
This is driving me up the wall so if anyone has any idea what to do, please let me know.
cheers.

I always read about this Nimo codec pack on these forums. Most
experiences are that it fouls up your Windows... Sorry to give you bad news. Try a search for it and you'll read about what you can do..

For encoding you just need the codecs themselves and you can get to these from Doom9's main page, choose downloads. Avoid codec packs like the plague.
