Funny, seems like I'm the first one to report unless I was to dumb to put the right terms into the search box...
I tried to get internal subtitles (Subrip) in OGM file loaded by DVobsub 2.23 set to load when needed + embedded.
Nothing to read on screen!
Switching to always load while immediately apply changes enabled did not make any difference.
I triple checked font settings (->black color!) and subtitle position.
Also I did not forget to primarily choose one of the two subtitles under language in both Zoomplayer (2.90RC2) and WMP 6.4.
Subs are fine, I ripped and muxed them myself, they even show up with Ogg Subtitle mixer.
I uninstalled SubTitDis.ax before configuring DVobsub to prevent interference.
Other filter in the game is ffdshow, video is encoded with XVid.
I have no clue, though I anticipate it to be a stupid error on my side, for Vobsub 2.23 is out for a long time and nobody seems to complain about this.
Well, I didn't check older versions.
