Can anyone tell me please if it is possible to convert a DIVX film into DVD format. tks

Uhhh absolutely...
I guess the easiest thing for you since you have never done it before is just use TMPEG. You may have some things to work out if it is some odd divx file but usually tmpeg will take it and do something like what you want.

or if u get honestech mpeg encoder 4...it accepts divx..not the fastest encoder though, but easy to use.

yes...via avisynth...somewhere on the avisynth forum i believe is a script for doing it...dont have it handy at the moment.

Canopus Procoder works great for this. It's easy to use, and very straight-forward, with good quality results. The only drawback is its price. $1500.00 OUCH!!!
