Hi,
After months of reading the forums I decided to move on from SVCD to DVDs. I have successfully combined the video file from DVD2SVCD with the AC3 file it strips out. My only problem is that I would prefer to have the DTS soundtrack which is not selectable through DVD2SVCD (it shows up but I can't select the box). I've searched the forums and found that I can get a DTS file from either Smarttripper, DVD2AVI or Vobedit. Will any of these just rip the audio track since DVD2SVCD has already taken care of the rest. Also will the two files., video from DVD2SVCD and DTS from whatever source be synched?

Thanks

I normally use DVDdecrypter for this... check 'enable stream processing', click on the dts track and check 'demux'. If you just want the dts track, then also uncheck all the other streams, just leaving the dts. This will give you a dts file ready for importing. I normally use Scenarist, so I can't speak for Maestro, but if the dts track has come from the same disc that your video source came from it should sync fine. If not you can edit the sync in the timeline window. I've been creating hybrid discs, using the video from the region 1 disc plus the dts track from a foriegn disc. I've done 3 movies so far and they've all come out perfect.
